WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU!

I decided to blow away all the old stuff in here, to bring you a less technical and more personal "What's New" Page...!

First of all, it's been four months since my last major re-update. Having recently broken things off with my soon-to-be-ex spouse, I can tell you that there hasn't been much time for things Godzilla...! Fortunately, I have a techie-turned-HTML wizard to help me with all the cross platform bugs....!

Secondly, this page now resides at XOOM.COM for the time being. I had another offer to host for free, but it would entail major surgery on my pages to bring them all into the 8.3 format and I simply do not have the time or energy! (Sorry Dan, no offense....)

I saw the new Godzilla movie when it came out; I have the plot synopses and the rating available on the Museum now.

I'm seeing a ton of Godzilla merchandise on the shelves at WalMart nowadays. Among them are G '98 T-shirts, lunch boxes, posters, toys, a water bottle, and VIRTUAL PETS of the Tri Star Godzilla, believe it or not...! I've also seen the Game Boy's "Godzilla" cartridge. and SUPER GODZILLA!!! It sure is a crying shame that I do not have sufficient financial resources in order to blow a wad on the Big G; but that's life...!

I want to extend great thanks to all of you who supported the Museum in my absence, especially M.M. who has stood by me and never left my side for a second..... also M.H. who made me laugh my ass.... er, ARSE... off... :-) Also P.R., L.H., and K.S., among others.

My prayers are with Ricky Browning, who is again battling cancer... and Haruo Nakajima (the man inside the G costume from 1954-1972) whom August Ragone said is now poor and homeless.... It's really too bad that I don't have a place of my own, cuz I would take him in...! And also, for others who are less fortunate than I.

Jan 14, 2000....
Well here we are, having crossed over into the Third Millenium. Not many people live to see that. Anyway... this is the first time in a long time I've been able to update my pages. I gave the Museum a cosmetic uplifting, adding an electric wave look to the frames menu. Also starting a Video Game section, although I admit it will never be as comprehensive as Gorzilla's page. I created a couple new midis, one off the NES Godzilla game, one of Destroyer and one of MechaGodzilla music.
I should probably write synopses for the new Mothra movie but heaven knows when I'll have the time. As it is, I'm trying to update the rest of my page before expanding it any further.
G2000 was released in Japan and I'm hoping it comes here soon. It looks pretty cool!
Oh, yeah... happy birthday to me. I'm 26 today. In a coupla weeks, my son turns five and becomes eligible to go to kindergarten. Whoopee! I knew I would be 26 in the year 2000 but now that I'm actually here, it seems pretty weird. Just four short years I'll be thirty. We'll see what happens! :)
Enjoy the Museum and the changes that are going on. I'm not dead yet and neither is the Museum! :D

Many of you have seen my page for the last two years. Same old, same old.... I hadn't updated it because in the process of leaving a bad marriage, I lost the decent computer I had and had not been able to really update it before now.
But now that I have an even BETTER computer than I had before I left, I have been updating it like a mad weasel. You better BELIEVE there is nothing "same old" about it ANYMORE! :)

First of all, I wrote a whole bunch of new Midis and created a pulldown menu where you could choose your OWN background music for the main page. Then I updated the look and feel of the frames menu. (Doesn't do anything special, just looks cool.) Then I discovered the Java applet! :) HEE HEE. I put several throughout my pages. The picture of me on my index page has this really cool ripple pond effect when you drag your mouse across it. Then, on the Welcome Page, you get treated to a little pyrotechnic show: Conster Presents Conster's Museum of GODZILLA. On the main page, you get to gawk at a burning "Gojira" logo and G2000 rising up out of the ocean. On the Movies page, you get to see another G2000 lake shot and at the bottom of the same page, you get to fly across a floor tiled w/ G2000 heads. :) On the Snowglobe page, I caused it to dump a bunch of...what else? SNOW! :) I added a cool sound effect to the Main page too: Godzilla fighting Orga. What more could you ask for? :)

March 3, 2000....

Well, I did a whole bunch more on the site. First of all, I added G vs... Or Movies so Short it would be a waste of money to make them. Then I added Tacky Godzilla stuff, including Godzilla Vs. Shitzilla and Godzilla the Wood Chipper (and of course, what page would be complete without the G tattooes? :)
Then I got quite the idea for my page that I should have thought of before. :) I got that Godzilla Movie Studios Tour CD compliments of Jim Walsh and Scott Walker, and I found I was actually able to create my very own kaiju movie poster! So I did one of Godzilla Vs. Bagan.  To make a long story short, I ended up writing my very own screenplay and writing a soundtrack too. I still have to finish with that. But you'll like it, I promise.
In the near future I plan to put up a Kaiju Humor Section. We'll see how much I can get away with putting up. *snicker*
