I'll
try to work with what little I have since this is an extremely poor film
to begin with! Not even Shakespeare could salvage much.
A group
of scientists are staying on Soleil Island in order to perfect a new weather-alteration
device. They are soon joined by Goro, an ambitious young reporter who just
drops out of the sky...actually he parachuted in from an airplane. The
scientists begin to fiddle with the island's weather conditions, creating
first colder, sub-tropic conditions, then they go for hotter weather; however
their control slips, and they find themselves taking refuge indoors from
a radioactive storm that turns Soleil Island into a giant 200 degree oven.
The
radioactivity turns the insects into giant monsters! The giant insects
unearth a huge egg. The egg hatches to reveal a baby Godzilla. Papa Godzilla
arrives to protect his...er... child. Meanwhile, Goro finds that there
has been a beautiful woman on the island all this time; at first the relationship
was rocky but in time Reiko warmed up to him. Reiko and Goro befriend young
Godzilla too.
Little
Minya is just fascinated by his brand-new playmates, but Godzilla has warned
his son a million and a half times not to play with those dirty, disgusting
humans! At the movie's end, Godzilla defeats the giant spider which almost
poisons his son, and the humans on the island cause it to dump a whole
bunch of snow. Godzilla and son go into hibernation while the humans make
their exit! Please forgive. It was a dumb plot for an even dumber film!
