Well....here goes nothing...!
Frankenstein's heart is shipped to Japan from Germany to be studied at length by scientists. Unfortunately, as the heart is being studied, the Americans choose *that point in time* to drop the Hiroshima bomb.... ...and I wish I could say that the story ends here, but it doesn't.... A weird looking deformed kid is caught running around the ruins of Hiroshima eating everything and anything. I couldn't tell you whether this one was the product of the heart growing a new body all by itself or whether some inattentive mother wasn't looking while her kid ate Frankenstein's heart. =) In any case, the kid is a complete and total weirdo, going around ripping up such animals as dogs, cats, rabbits (don't look at me, mom! I know you love your bookoo rabbits but I did NOT make this film!!!!) and eating them. He is captured by scientists and after that, begins to grow in size! Another monster meanwhile is burrowing around underground, and by the time he makes an appearance to eat some people, Frankie has already broken free and has disappeared. The human casualties are blamed on Frankie and the military tries to destroy him... ...and I wish I could say that the story ends here, but it doesn't.... Frankie meets up with Baragon and in the rough and tumble of things always manages to save his friends from Baragon's hungry grasp. Eventually Frankie breaks his foe's neck and is attacked by a gigantic octopus. He is pulled under the water to drown... ...and I wish I could say that the story ends here, but it doesn't.... Frankenstein lives forever, and chances are we'll hear from him again.... though the day that happens, it will be a day too soon. |
